After having played for 4 minutes, Marciano Quintin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chateaubriand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Quintin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anibal Pasqual's late challenge caught a Aguacu EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anibal Pasqual helped the player get up and apologised. Marcial Dei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Ribeiro in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Chateaubriand's Felix Llorienzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luan Vergílio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Perivaldo Ribeiro put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcial Dei. Luan Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Quintin in the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Quintin in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luan Vergílio saved Aguacu EC from getting behind. If Felix Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Llorienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luan Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Chateaubriand's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Barreto came free, but Marcial Dei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perivaldo Ribeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Dei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perivaldo Ribeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Chateaubriand's Samuel Constancio got a free kick in the 35th minute. João Pedro do Nascimento took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcial Dei. Chateaubriand's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Felix Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Pedro do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Quintin in the 53rd minute of play forced Aguacu EC's goalkeeper Luan Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amílton Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Lino Santos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luan Vergílio. Aguacu EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aguacu EC's goalkeeper Luan Vergílio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aguacu EC's Claudinei Medeiros suffered a sore thigh after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 63 played minutes Chateaubriand got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Quintin. After 64 played minutes Aguacu EC got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Rosado. Manfredo Rosado charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manfredo Rosado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manfredo Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Marcial Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ediberto Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luan Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Llorienzo in the 79th minute of the match. After 79 minutes, Abelardo Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aguacu EC and the Chateaubriand players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Aguacu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Madureira to maneuver through the defense. When Chateaubriand's Felix Llorienzo in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
