In the 3rd minute Erberk Çubukcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iyan Abrego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mazhar Tandoğdu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Iyan Abrego made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, Mazhar Tandoğdu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iyan Abrego. R.C.D Toro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mazhar Tandoğdu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Tahir Türünk kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Manuel Pedraza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute Manuel Pedraza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talat Akbaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erberk Çubukcu in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iyan Abrego saved R.C.D Toro from getting behind. After 23 played minutes R.C.D Toro got a freekick which was hit by Constancio Cainzos. Iyan Abrego was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sait Pekol. In the 32nd minute, Necip Fazıl Mengüalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erberk Çubukcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iyan Abrego having to interfere. After a rather tough play, R.C.D Toro's Candelario Sánchez got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Erberk Çubukcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atilano Molina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Talat Akbaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Pedraza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erberk Çubukcu to make the kick off. Atilano Molina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talat Akbaba having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, hatay FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necip Fazıl Mengüalp to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Pedraza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Talat Akbaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Pedraza in the 61st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sait Pekol during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, one of hatay FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for hatay FK. 75 minutes into the match, Mazhar Tandoğdu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iyan Abrego. R.C.D Toro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mazhar Tandoğdu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The supporters of hatay FK booed when R.C.D Toro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candelario Sánchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Besim Harmandalı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind hatay FK's goalkeeper Talat Akbaba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
