Manuel Pedraza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ediberto Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ediberto Barreto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Iyan Abrego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Ediberto Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Aguacu EC's Amílton Antunes got a free kick in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Manuel Pedraza put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luan Vergílio. Ediberto Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Iyan Abrego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. R.C.D Toro's Iyan Abrego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save R.C.D Toro from getting a goal against them. Perivaldo Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Iyan Abrego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aguacu EC. 34 minutes into the match, R.C.D Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Ribeiro came free, but Iyan Abrego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ediberto Barreto took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iyan Abrego. Iyan Abrego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Aguacu EC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alfredo Pereira hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Pedraza was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Aguacu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Antunes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Barreto in the 53rd minute of play forced R.C.D Toro's goalkeeper Iyan Abrego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iyan Abrego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Aguacu EC's zone, Atilano Molina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luan Vergílio came out of the goal and Atilano Molina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constancio Cainzos during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, R.C.D Toro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constancio Cainzos to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the game, R.C.D Toro's Atilano Molina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luan Vergílio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Alfredo Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Atilano Molina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Manuel Pedraza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Pedraza in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luan Vergílio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Pedraza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. R.C.D Toro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Atilano Molina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Luan Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
