After a rather tough play, Philadelphia Union FC's Yevgen Romanenko got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Aguacu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Lichorobiec came free, but Luan Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Aguacu EC's Jeremias Queiroz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jeremias Queiroz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Aguacu EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jeremias Queiroz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Philadelphia Union FC's Valentyn Boyaryntsev was substituted for Symon Bridnya. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aguacu EC! Luan Vergílio went to the wrong direction when Yevgen Romanenko was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 82nd minute, Myroslav Zanevskyi made a precise shot to the right of Luan Vergílio. Aguacu EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. 86 minutes into the game, Myroslav Zanevskyi lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Luan Vergílio.
