Luan Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Quintin in the 3rd minute of the match. Marcial Dei made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ediberto Barreto sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 8 minutes, Perivaldo Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguacu EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perivaldo Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ediberto Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Dei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ediberto Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Marciano Quintin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Luan Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Felix Llorienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chateaubriand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Llorienzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ediberto Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Dei having to make a save. If Perivaldo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ediberto Barreto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcial Dei firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alfredo Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Marciano Quintin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chateaubriand's Marciano Quintin got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Perivaldo Ribeiro made a kick off. A collision led to Chateaubriand getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Samuel Constancio hit a great ball. Luan Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Quintin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Llorienzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Luan Vergílio made a huge save. If Perivaldo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ediberto Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Perivaldo Ribeiro made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Dei. Chateaubriand's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Luan Vergílio made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Felix Llorienzo sent off a good shot on target. Aguacu EC's Luan Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Quintin in the 80th minute of play. Marcial Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ediberto Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ediberto Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguacu EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Dei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Aguacu EC's Perivaldo Ribeiro in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chateaubriand's goalie prevented a goal. 89 minutes into the game, Aguacu EC's Perivaldo Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Dei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Perivaldo Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Dei having to interfere. Aguacu EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
