In the 4th match minute, Casana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Ostargi to maneuver through the defense. Placido Vergaray hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Watchet's Barrie Stride tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Edelmiro Eate fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casana's protests and gave Edelmiro Eate a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Edelmiro Eate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Watchet's Roger Blowman, in the 14th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Watchet. Casana's Feliciano Dominix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Casana from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Cirilo Pacifico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sacha York was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Zeledon Eneko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Casana's zone, Roger Blowman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Dominix came out of the goal and Roger Blowman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute Clive Chalk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Dominix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jasper Morning succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 40th playminute. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Watchet's goalkeeper Sacha York, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Watchet got a freekick which was hit by Clive Chalk. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

If Jasper Morning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Roger Blowman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Watchet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Hugh Townsley lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Watchet fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Placido Vergaray placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 61st minute, Jasper Morning ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliciano Dominix was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Feliciano Dominix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Morning in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Casana's Cirilo Pacifico got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Isidoro Salvino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sacha York, passed just outside the right post. Sacha York showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Eneko in the 73rd minute of the match. Watchet's Jasper Morning got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Clive Chalk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
