But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wladyslaw Golota couldn't finish the play. Izydor Kolbe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 彭源林 having to interfere. With a little luck, MKS UNIA's Borys Parzysz got control of the ball when 高超骏 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 彭源林 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Dulemba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 台湾省嘉义蠢人代表队's 彭源林 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Kolbe in the 35th minute of play. Borys Parzysz was a little too slow when 高超骏 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 46th minute Edmund Dulemba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 彭源林 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MKS UNIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wladyslaw Golota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 55th minute, 高超骏 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Borys Parzysz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. If Edmund Dulemba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute Izydor Kolbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 彭源林 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Izydor Kolbe scored 5-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 彭源林, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of 彭源林. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmund Dulemba got free with 彭源林 in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Izydor Kolbe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 99thth minute tested the skills of 彭源林 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Many of MKS UNIA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. MKS UNIA may have spent more time on the ball, but 台湾省嘉义蠢人代表队 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
