Aguacu EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave R.C.D Toro the free kick. Manfredo Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Aguacu EC's Ediberto Barreto suffered a sore foot after 12 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Candelario Sánchez fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored R.C.D Toro's protests and gave Candelario Sánchez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, R.C.D Toro's Candelario Sánchez got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Pereira in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iyan Abrego saved R.C.D Toro from getting behind. Perivaldo Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Iyan Abrego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iyan Abrego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Ribeiro in the 27th minute of play. Atilano Molinas short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Luan Vergílio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Perivaldo Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iyan Abrego having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Perivaldo Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguacu EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Perivaldo Ribeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iyan Abrego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Pedraza was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Milian Navarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the R.C.D Toro and the Aguacu EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to R.C.D Toro getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Milian Navarro hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, Aguacu EC's João Pedro do Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iyan Abrego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of R.C.D Toro booed when Aguacu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iyan Abrego was a little too slow when Perivaldo Ribeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-1. Luan Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Pedraza in the 62nd minute of the match. Perivaldo Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iyan Abrego having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Koldo Esperta during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aguacu EC's Amílton Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 83rd minute of the match Koldo Esperta completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Koldo Esperta a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Koldo Esperta kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Perivaldo Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iyan Abrego having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in R.C.D Toro's zone, Amílton Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iyan Abrego came out of the goal and Amílton Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Milian Navarro struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Luan Vergílio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R.C.D Toro. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
