Aguacu EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perivaldo Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Ribeiro in the 38th minute of play forced Casana's goalkeeper Feliciano Dominix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ediberto Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Dominix having to interfere. Ediberto Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliciano Dominix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Jeremias Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguacu EC's protests and gave Jeremias Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Jeremias Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Isidoro Salvinos short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Luan Vergílio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Aguacu EC's Luan Vergílio got control of the ball when Isidoro Salvino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cirilo Pacifico got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Aguacu EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
