Minho FC's Zeferino Diegues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Suárez in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Minho FC's Maicon Azevedo got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 10 minutes, Uzuri Abella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Munat Tayka and the Minho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Munat Tayka got a freekick which was hit by Uzuri Abella. Minho FC's Zeferino Diegues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Suárez in the 13th minute of play. Zeferino Diegues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Munat Tayka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pacho Abechuco in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute Minho FC were awarded a corner. Demetrio Savini went to the cornerflag to take it. After 25 played minutes Minho FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Pellecchia. Cristopher de Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aron Oks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Demetrio Savini shot from long distance in the 45th minute, but Aron Oks was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After a rather tough play, Minho FC's Aldo Santana got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Zeferino Diegues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Suárez in the 51st minute of the match. Ivo Mourato charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivo Mourato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Minho FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Mourato. Minho FC's Cristopher de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Aron Oks, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristopher de Alcântara scored 1-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aron Oks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Minho FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Renato Otto scored to the left of an out of position Zeferino Diegues, making the score, 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Uzuri Abella in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Minho FC's Aldo Santana. Magno Aparecido took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Oks. Aron Oks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Minho FC had won after a very even match.
