Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Angola's Edmundo Fontão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Kazakhstan's Klim Kostygin got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Edmundo Fontão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Bochkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Fontão in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Bochkin saved Kazakhstan from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Miroslav Pristavkin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Angola's Lourenço Polido. Lourenço Polido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmundo Fontão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robert Bochkin. That made the score 1-2 in the 15 minute of play. Lourenço Polido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klim Kostygin in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kazakhstan's zone, Fábio Quilempan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Bochkin came out of the goal and Fábio Quilempan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Edmundo Fontão put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Robert Bochkin. Edmundo Fontão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lourenço Polido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Pristavkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Edmundo Fontão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Klim Kostygin was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Angola's Edmundo Fontão made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Bochkin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robert Bochkin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Fontão went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute Erofey Kurashov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Polido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lourenço Polido made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Maksimilian Golovnitskiy sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miroslav Pristavkin got free with Lourenço Polido in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Edmundo Fontão made a precise shot to the right of Robert Bochkin. Kazakhstan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Angola's Custódio Lima Clemente was substituted for Edmundo Fontão. Angola made a substitution. Pedro Apalanga replaced Nuno Viegas. 79 minutes into the match, Kazakhstan's goal looked a bit too open when Custódio Lima Clemente came free, but Robert Bochkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Erofey Kurashov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-3. Lourenço Polido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lourenço Polido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Pristavkin in the 86th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, Kazakhstan's Miroslav Pristavkin made it 6-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lourenço Polido was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klim Kostygin during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
