After 5 minutes, Feng Jun made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. GARIBALDI FC's Rene Llorian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rene Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feng Jun in the 10th minute of the match. Lázaro Ekain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Máximo Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Rene Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feng Jun in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lázaro Ekain in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Máximo Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when GARIBALDI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Ezkerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Máximo Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's Feng Jun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Llorian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute Feng Jun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the GARIBALDI FC defense, Feng Jun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Llorian. The GARIBALDI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Llorian should have stopped the shot. Lázaro Ekain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Máximo Correia made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ambrosio Colas made a kick off. Feng Jun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Llorian having to make a save. GARIBALDI FC's Lázaro Ekain got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 56 played minutes GARIBALDI FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Figueroa. Feng Jun took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Llorian. Rene Llorian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Lázaro Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Ekain came free, but Máximo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of GARIBALDI FC booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Trevilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Osorio Esoin hit a great ball. GARIBALDI FC's Rene Llorian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save GARIBALDI FC from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sporting Buceo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
