Albino Dimas tried in the 6th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Mateo Llorienzo a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Kasım Okanalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Frances in the 9th minute of the match. Mateo Llorienzo made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Dong Cheng Si sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Merengue FC defense, Dong Cheng Si kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Llorienzo. The Merengue FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Llorienzo should have stopped the shot. Kasım Okanalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Banaszak, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Kasım Okanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darwin Núñez in the 27th minute of play. If Dong Cheng Si had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mateo Llorienzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dong Cheng Si in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Dong Cheng Si sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateo Llorienzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Kasım Okanalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Jago in the 36th minute of play. Roland Banaszak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roland Banaszak was the one to do the kick off. Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dong Cheng Si in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Dong Cheng Si sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateo Llorienzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dong Cheng Si took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Llorienzo. Mateo Llorienzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 66th match minute, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bill Nietlispach to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Edelmiro Quintyn in the 69th minute really tested Kasım Okanalp's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dong Cheng Si might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Llorienzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dong Cheng Si ran back to his position shaking his head. Kasım Okanalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Frances in the 73rd minute of the match. Darwin Núñez struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Kasım Okanalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merengue FC. Kasım Okanalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Jago in the 89th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ were victorious despite being under pressure from Merengue FC for much of the match.
