With his leg Mateo Llorienzo managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Frenchville Sports Club's Starri Ööpik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Starri Ööpik in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Frenchville Sports Club's Berke Rush nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Llorienzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Mateo Llorienzo was a little too slow when Berke Rush got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. If Berke Rush had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berke Rush in the 22nd minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Mateo Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Best Didlock almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo did a great save. In the 32nd minute, Starri Ööpik reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mateo Llorienzo. The goal made the score 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Domingo Jago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merengue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Jago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvaldo Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darwin Núñez in the 38th minute of play. Berke Rush sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvaldo Gaspar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darwin Núñez's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Frenchville Sports Club getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Valério Netto hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Starri Ööpik was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Albino Dimas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merengue FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frenchville Sports Club the free kick. In the 51st match minute, Merengue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Dimas to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Berke Rush came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Berke Rush had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's Darwin Núñez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvaldo Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Valério Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roland Banaszak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Edvaldo Gaspar made a huge save. The Merengue FC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Merengue FC's Domingo Jago looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mateo Llorienzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berke Rush, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateo Llorienzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berke Rush's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Frenchville Sports Club from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Frenchville Sports Club's Burt Gruer got a free kick in the 79th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Merengue FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Frenchville Sports Club:s goal. Best Didlock took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Llorienzo. Mateo Llorienzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Frenchville Sports Club's Humphry Gerrard was substituted for Quincy Slattery. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darwin Núñez got free with Edvaldo Gaspar in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
