When Benicio Balasi came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the CA Quake fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Balasi couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Colas to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Lázaro Ekain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silverio Cordearo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 58 minutes, Lázaro Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GARIBALDI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Ekain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of CA Quake booed when GARIBALDI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Rogelio Sadurni sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and GARIBALDI FC's Rene Llorian didn't even have to move. Erubiel Dubardo replaced Lázaro Ekain. Rene Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Aznaro in the 79th minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Benicio Balasi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GARIBALDI FC's Rene Llorian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Genaro Constancio kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. CA Quake's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
