Strib Galacticos IF's Kurt Kolb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Wacherhausen in the 5th minute of play. Westra Aros SK's Ivan Västlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hagbard Ribov in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's goal looked a bit too open when Halfdan Hornegaard came free, but Ivan Västlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Basilio Arnuero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Strib Galacticos IF were awarded a corner. Daniel Wilkenfeldt went to the cornerflag to take it. Strib Galacticos IF's Daniel Wilkenfeldt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ivan Västlund in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Westra Aros SK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Florian Galeone hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's goal looked a bit too open when Halfdan Hornegaard came free, but Ivan Västlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Westra Aros SK's Ivan Västlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hagbard Ribov in the 37th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökberk Özgenc in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurt Kolb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kurt Kolb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Baggio in the 42nd minute of the match. Mike Tyson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Strib Galacticos IF's zone, Roberto Baggio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Kolb came out of the goal and Roberto Baggio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Westra Aros SK's Normando Portillo got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Timo Rokmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Västlund having to make a save. Hagbard Ribov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 55th playminute. Westra Aros SK made a substitution. Ismael Jenaro replaced Roberto Baggio. Westra Aros SK's Jörn Hylander was substituted for Normando Portillo. 59 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's goalkeeper Ivan Västlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timo Rokmann. 64 minutes into the game, Westra Aros SK's Gökberk Özgenc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kurt Kolb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Gökberk Özgenc took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kurt Kolb. Kurt Kolb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 71st minute, Hagbard Ribov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Västlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hagbard Ribov in the 74th minute of play forced Westra Aros SK's goalkeeper Ivan Västlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Strib Galacticos IF were awarded a corner. Daniel Wilkenfeldt went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Westra Aros SK's goalie and right to Hagbard Ribov. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Westra Aros SK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some careless play in the Strib Galacticos IF defense, Gökberk Özgenc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Kolb. The Strib Galacticos IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Kolb should have stopped the shot. Westra Aros SK's attentive Jörn Hylander managed to snatch the ball when Mike Tyson made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. Kurt Kolb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gökberk Özgenc went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. Kurt Kolb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökberk Özgenc in the 93rd minute of play.
