In the 3rd minute, Alexander Mendoza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silverio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Baggio in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Cayetano Aznaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivan Västlund, 1-0. Ivan Västlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Balasi in the 23rd minute of play. Westra Aros SK's Ivan Västlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Westra Aros SK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Balasi in the 26th minute of play forced Westra Aros SK's goalkeeper Ivan Västlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Aznaro came free, but Ivan Västlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökberk Özgenc in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Westra Aros SK's Ivan Västlund got control of the ball when Benicio Balasi tried to sneak it across the goal line. CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Baggio in the 41st minute of play. Gökberk Özgenc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Ivan Västlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Balasi in the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Westra Aros SK booed when CA Quake was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goal looked a bit too open when Gökberk Özgenc came free, but Silverio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Westra Aros SK's Jörn Hylander was substituted for Normando Portillo. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Benicio Balasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Ismael Jenaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westra Aros SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Jenaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CA Quake made a substitution. Jacobo Mouricio replaced Victoriano Sustrai. In the 72nd match minute, Westra Aros SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny Bäckström to maneuver through the defense. Silverio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökberk Özgenc in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CA Quake's zone, Gökberk Özgenc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Cordearo came out of the goal and Gökberk Özgenc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eloy Larra made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Westra Aros SK's Jörn Hylander. 82 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's Gökberk Özgenc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silverio Cordearo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Westra Aros SK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Stig Waller hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Cayetano Aznaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Jenaro in the 90th minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Ubelteso's late challenge caught a Westra Aros SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Ubelteso helped the player get up and apologised. CA Quake's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
