An unexpectedly hard shot by Starri Ööpik in the 4th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Kurt Kolb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berke Rush fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Kolb having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Berke Rush made a precise shot to the right of Kurt Kolb. Strib Galacticos IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 15th play minutes Berke Rush shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Kurt Kolb and just under the crossbar into goal. Halfdan Hornegaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Edvaldo Gaspar made a huge save. After some careless play in the Strib Galacticos IF defense, Berke Rush kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Kolb. The Strib Galacticos IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Kolb should have stopped the shot. After 24 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Teis Bager. If Berke Rush had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berke Rush received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Kurt Kolb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Quincy Slattery cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Kurt Kolb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th match minute, Frenchville Sports Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berke Rush to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Halfdan Hornegaard to make the kick off. Bobbi Mejnholt charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bobbi Mejnholt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kurt Kolb made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Quincy Slattery sent off a good shot on target. Berke Rush received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. In the 80th minute, Halfdan Hornegaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvaldo Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Frenchville Sports Club made a substitution. Humphry Gerrard replaced Quincy Slattery. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when Frenchville Sports Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humphry Gerrard didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Frenchville Sports Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Strib Galacticos IF throughout the match.
