With his leg Patrick Armstrong managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Los Irrompibles's Rogelio Herrasti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patrick Armstrong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Herrasti's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Cristo Gregory might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Armstrong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristo Gregory ran back to his position shaking his head.

The supporters of ManagerZone Crew booed when Los Irrompibles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Herrasti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Armstrong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Aguirre in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Los Irrompibles's goalkeeper Fabricio Lawrence had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Våleman. Volker Gleicke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The ManagerZone Crew supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ManagerZone Crew would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
