Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Wesley Rush successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 16th minute Edgar Miodek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Rush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Miodek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wesley Rush came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgar Miodek slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Wesley Rush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michail Bakunin in the 20th minute of the match. Wesley Rush took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michail Bakunin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, FC Amsterdam Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Seabra came free, but Wesley Rush reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match, Edgar Miodek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wesley Rush saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wesley Rush was a little too slow when Edgar Miodek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. Wesley Rush stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Miodek's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feridun Eronat to make the kick off. Wesley Rush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michail Bakunin in the 58th minute of the match. The Punisher's Adriano Seabra got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, The Punisher's Guga Simão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wesley Rush made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The Punisher made a substitution. Carlos Azevedo replaced Tomasz Smolak. After 79 played minutes The Punisher got a freekick which was hit by Guto Leite. The Punisher's Orlando Paraense was substituted for Michail Bakunin. 85 minutes into the match, FC Amsterdam Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Tavares came free, but Wesley Rush reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wesley Rush showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When FC Amsterdam Wanderers's David Love in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 93rd match minute, FC Amsterdam Wanderers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ashley Barron to maneuver through the defense. If Nilton Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The Punisher's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
