In the 17thth minute of the game Venancio Bertol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glentown FC's Olov Ahlquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sandro Coisne kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Shao Jing Yuan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Henry Eriksson. The throw-in from Hélio Sousa in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Glentown FC's Mister Nudel. Shao Jing Yuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Aspvik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Jon to maneuver through the defense. Glentown FC's Jonatan Aspvik got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonatan Aspvik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Santa Fe's Shao Jing Yuan got control of the ball when Jonatan Aspvik tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Jonatan Aspvik took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Shao Jing Yuan to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toro Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Toro Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Ahlquist having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Glentown FC's Jonatan Aspvik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shao Jing Yuan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Jonatan Aspvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Jonatan Aspvik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shao Jing Yuan was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Venancio Bertol managed to get in a good position for a shot.
