In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind XMAS's goalkeeper Concetto Garibaldi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Alessio Ascoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Siro Ugutz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a little luck, Bochin club La Palmera's Siro Ugutz got control of the ball when Christian Zaccardi tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xalbador Vigalondo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 96thth minute of the game Xalbador Vigalondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XMAS's Concetto Garibaldi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Bochin club La Palmera supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bochin club La Palmera would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
