Cabezones's Duran Hunalp got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victoriano Eate made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Amancio Eusko sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th match minute, Cabezones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Petri to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Tome came free, but Qiu Le Qi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Eriberto Oso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Le Qi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qiu Le Qi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raf Feys, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Cabezones's Duran Hunalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qiu Le Qi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victoriano Eate made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Mario Lazcano sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Esteban Petri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match, Cleto Garaona got a very nice opportunity to score, but Victoriano Eate was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duran Hunalp in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Qiu Le Qi saved JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's Qiu Le Qi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duran Hunalp in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Duran Hunalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Le Qi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raf Feys hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Orain in the 28th minute of play forced Cabezones's goalkeeper Victoriano Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Eate made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Amancio Eusko sent off a good shot on target. Qiu Le Qi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duran Hunalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cabezones getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Braulio Tome hit a great ball. After 37 minutes, Amancio Eusko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB and the Cabezones players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cabezones booed when JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Eusko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Bembe hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Eriberto Oso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qiu Le Qi having to interfere. Qiu Le Qi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duran Hunalp in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Hodei. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amancio Eusko was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Bembe. Qiu Le Qi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duran Hunalp in the 51st minute. JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's Qiu Le Qi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB from getting a goal against them. Casimiro Fix hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Duran Hunalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Oso in the 62nd minute of play forced JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Qiu Le Qi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Oso took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Qiu Le Qi. Qiu Le Qi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Victoriano Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Orain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute of the match JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB got a corner. Cabezones's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Lazcano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mario Lazcano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cabezones's Victoriano Eate did a great save. Duran Hunalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qiu Le Qi having to make a save. Duran Hunalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Qiu Le Qi made a huge save. In the 78th minute, Raf Feys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoriano Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Orain in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Qiu Le Qi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raf Feys. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Lazcano during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute Braulio Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Le Qi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cabezones's Duran Hunalp got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Qiu Le Qi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Oso in the 89th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Cabezones left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than JORGE NEWBERY FUTBOL CLUB.
