Abuba Akotonon FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvio Quinteros in the 8th minute. Aldas Saulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Herena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Tximitx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deimantas Valys in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Ursino during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leo Ursino kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Adomas Bacys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Tximitx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geležinis Vilkas's Aldas Saulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Ursino in the 18th minute of play. Tauras Bagūnas kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Aldas Saulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinson Cavani, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 26th minute, Clemente Herena made a precise shot to the right of Aldas Saulis. Geležinis Vilkas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 29th minute, Valentín Barco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abuba Akotonon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 32nd minute Edinson Cavani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldas Saulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Geležinis Vilkas defense, Valentín Barco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldas Saulis. The Geležinis Vilkas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldas Saulis should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the game, Clemente Herena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Aldas Saulis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 42 minutes of play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Clemente Herena made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldas Saulis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Abuba Akotonon FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clemente Herena was the one to do the kick off. Aldas Saulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentín Barco in the 51st minute of play. Ariel Tximitx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentas Bizauskas in the 54th minute of play. Aldas Saulis made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Clemente Herena sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Aldas Saulis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Herena. A collision led to Geležinis Vilkas getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Adomas Bacys hit a great ball. Aldas Saulis was a little too slow when Leo Ursino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-8. If Edinson Cavani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Herena came free, but Aldas Saulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Jogaila Jameikis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Clemente Herena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abuba Akotonon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Aldas Saulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Ursino in the 84th minute of the match. Ariel Tximitx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deimantas Valys, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Silvio Quinteros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Quinteros. Kristupas Kirkutis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match was over Abuba Akotonon FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Geležinis Vilkas throughout the match.
