Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Acácio Reis started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Abuba Akotonon FC got a corner. Estação F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvio Quinteros ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Abuba Akotonon FC's corner Silvio Quinteros fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Şaban Beykan quite easily take care of the ball. Ariel Tximitx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laerte Albuquerque's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes Abuba Akotonon FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Eduardo Costa who took care of the corner kick. Estação F.C's Carlos Eduardo Costa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ariel Tximitx in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 11th match minute, Estação F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Estação F.C's Şaban Beykan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Estação F.C from getting a goal against them. The attack was good, but when Laerte Albuquerque in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ariel Tximitx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Albuquerque in the 25th minute of play. Ariel Tximitx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Reis in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Clemente Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şaban Beykan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Estação F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Herena came free, but Şaban Beykan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Abuba Akotonon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Quinteros to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Clemente Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şaban Beykan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Edinson Cavani reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Şaban Beykan. The goal made the score 1-0. Arthur Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Leonel Negri fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estação F.C's protests and gave Leonel Negri a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Estação F.C got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Reis. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Clemente Herena made the kick off in the second half. Estação F.C's Şaban Beykan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Ursino in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Clemente Herena notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Estação F.C's Şaban Beykan. Şaban Beykan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Estação F.C booed when Abuba Akotonon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Quinteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Ursino hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ariel Tximitx acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Elias de Queirós. Estação F.C's Şaban Beykan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentín Barco in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentín Barco in the 64th minute of play forced Estação F.C's goalkeeper Şaban Beykan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes Estação F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvio Quinteros who took care of the corner kick. Silvio Quinteros made a great header on Abuba Akotonon FC's corner, it was just that Estação F.C's Şaban Beykan managed to reach the ball for a save. Şaban Beykan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Ursino, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laerte Albuquerque during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Laerte Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Estação F.C got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Albuquerque. In the 84th minute, Estação F.C's Leonel Negri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ariel Tximitx. Ariel Tximitx yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Abuba Akotonon FC made a substitution. Paulino Lizardi replaced Cristian Medina. Şaban Beykan came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Abuba Akotonon FC's Clemente Herena. But to his dismay, Clemente Herena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 92nd minute Edinson Cavani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şaban Beykan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentín Barco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şaban Beykan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Abuba Akotonon FC fully deserved thier win.
