In the 6th minute Gavino Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Telesforo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Colas in the 8th minute of play. After 9 minutes Cable a Tierra's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Primitivo Jatsu who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Cable a Tierra getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Paulão Laguna hit a great ball. Federico Colas scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Telesforo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Cable a Tierra's zone, Federico Colas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Telesforo came out of the goal and Federico Colas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Cable a Tierra getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Eloy Leguizamón hit a great ball. Prospero Maju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Echeverri, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute, Narciso Bertassi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cable a Tierra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Claudio Echeverri fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cable a Tierra's protests and gave Claudio Echeverri a yellow card for diving instead. Claudio Echeverri kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Colas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Prospero Maju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Colas in the 59th minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Leonides Telesforo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Maju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Bertassi in the 62nd minute of the match. Gavino Egoi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Prospero Maju when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Eloy Leguizamón with Paulão Laguna as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 78th minute Narciso Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gallardo y Biscay FC's Prospero Maju proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Gallardo y Biscay FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Gergely Csernyi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gallardo y Biscay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gergely Csernyi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Telesforo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquiles Orland kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Gallardo y Biscay FC were awarded a corner. Primitivo Jatsu went to the cornerflag to take it. Gallardo y Biscay FC's Cosme Mendebal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leonides Telesforo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the final whistle sounded Cable a Tierra left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gallardo y Biscay FC.
