The supporters of Hartmann Futebol Clube booed when Pintado AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olivar Yzarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Aloísio Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Lopez in the 27th minute of play forced Pintado AFC's goalkeeper Cutberto Garrandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cutberto Garrandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Cutberto Garrandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Pintado AFC's zone, Aloísio Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cutberto Garrandes came out of the goal and Aloísio Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Pintado AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hartmann Futebol Clube were winning 1-3.

Cutberto Garrandes was a little too slow when Glauco do Nascimento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-8.
