An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Beard in the 29th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Trenton Long came free, but Wilhelm Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Brooklyn SC's zone, Sebastian Käller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jospeh McNally came out of the goal and Sebastian Käller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Sebastian Käller made a precise shot to the right of Jospeh McNally. Brooklyn SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 42nd minute, Sebastian Käller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kind of Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After the first half Kind of Blue were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gerardo Beard made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brooklyn SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Jospeh McNally made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Käller in the 59th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Sebastian Käller dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jospeh McNally, 0-5. Wilhelm Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Beard in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Sebastian Käller reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jospeh McNally. The goal made the score 0-6. Kind of Blue's Horea Boian was substituted for Anastasios Pallini. Brooklyn SC made a substitution. Anderson Donatello replaced Serginho Ramos. Epifanio Aznar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jospeh McNally read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brooklyn SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joacim Hansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Kind of Blue's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Käller got free with Jospeh McNally in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Käller who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Jospeh McNally when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jospeh McNally stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Käller's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kind of Blue eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
