When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Karol Panasewicz sped through Niebiański&Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rüştü Rencber. Rüştü Rencber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Panasewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 24 minutes, Karol Panasewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Niebiański&Team's zone, Lionel-Andrés Messi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rüştü Rencber came out of the goal and Lionel-Andrés Messi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Blue Mountain State walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
