Michel Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuan Zhen Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. León Philippi made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Yuan Zhen Lin. 27 minutes into the game, Orfilio Orbañanos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Michel Hendrickx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ariel Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catalino Rivarola in the 32nd minute of the match. Michel Hendrickx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orfilio Orbañanos's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Isaias Matas made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Balboa. U. de Tarapacá's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 47 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yuan Zhen Lin came free, but Michel Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Isaias Matas made the kick off in the second half. Isaias Matas took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ariel Balboa. Ariel Balboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. 66 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Matas came free, but Ariel Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olavarria FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Orfilio Orbañanos scored to the left of an out of position Michel Hendrickx, making the score, 2-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ervigio Ojeda in the 73rd minute of play forced U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Ariel Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes, Ervigio Ojeda made it 3-6 with a short kick to the right side. U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ariel Balboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catalino Rivarola, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Ervigio Ojeda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olavarria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ervigio Ojeda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ariel Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ervigio Ojeda in the 96th minute of the match. U. de Tarapacá's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
