The Golden Tigers fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Golden Tigers's Hakem Al Attar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Herbert Kirchhoff might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Alberto Chilavert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herbert Kirchhoff ran back to his position shaking his head. Hakem Khorshed got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Estevao Dueñas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. José Alberto Chilavert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. King Sputore hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. İsa Cevar kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Golden Tigers's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
