After having played for 14 minutes, Jithu Vijiaratnam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 苏州觅香足球俱乐部's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jithu Vijiaratnam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 孙朋骋 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jithu Nagasaki in the 17th minute of play. When 姚永笑 fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ≮王者归来≯日本浦和红宝石's protests and gave 姚永笑 a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes ≮王者归来≯日本浦和红宝石 got a freekick which was hit by 姚永笑. A collision led to ≮王者归来≯日本浦和红宝石 getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. 鲁梁德 hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Mark Ee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afiq Hongyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 肖源斐, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 27 minutes of play, ≮王者归来≯日本浦和红宝石's 宋适迅 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afiq Hongyi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Afiq Hongyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 姜平轩 in the 32nd minute of play. If Jithu Nagasaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ≮王者归来≯日本浦和红宝石's 姚永笑 got a free kick in the 38th minute. 姜平轩 kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ≮王者归来≯日本浦和红宝石's goalkeeper 孙朋骋, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when 宋适迅 got free with Afiq Hongyi in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to ≮王者归来≯日本浦和红宝石 getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. 姜平轩 hit a great ball. 姜诚超 charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 姜诚超 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Mark Ee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, 苏州觅香足球俱乐部's Afiq Hongyi got control of the ball when 宋适迅 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 98th minute, Mark Ee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afiq Hongyi made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when 康希迅 sent off a good shot on target. Despite being the better team, 苏州觅香足球俱乐部 failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
