Fariz Swee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 鲁浩亦 having to interfere. Khairul Paine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. 鲁浩亦 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When 陶阳挺 fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dream Fantasy FC's protests and gave 陶阳挺 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, one of Dream Fantasy FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dream Fantasy FC. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Redbourn AFC. Khairul Paine stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving 鲁浩亦. 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Dream Fantasy FC's zone, Ryan Tan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 鲁浩亦 came out of the goal and Ryan Tan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ryan Tan might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 鲁浩亦. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ryan Tan ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when 冯烨亮 made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when 邱鹰潮 came free, but Danial Ching reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Redbourn AFC's 鲁浩亦 threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fariz Swee, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 56th minute, Ryan Tan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 鲁浩亦. The goal made the score 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Khairul Paine kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 鲁浩亦. That made the score 1-5 in the 63 minute of play. 鲁浩亦 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Khairul Paine went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the match, Dream Fantasy FC's goalkeeper 鲁浩亦 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sajeev Hian. If Sajeev Hian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Khairul Paine got free with 鲁浩亦 in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dream Fantasy FC's 鲁浩亦 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Dream Fantasy FC from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute Ryan Tan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 鲁浩亦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dream Fantasy FC's 冯烨亮 in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Redbourn AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Redbourn AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dream Fantasy FC throughout the match.
