In the 16th minute Alvaro Polmone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clay Oconnell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SnapperHeads F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gwidon Bugno hit a great ball. Alvaro Polmone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clay Oconnell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Clay Oconnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Polmone, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The SnapperHeads F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when SnapperHeads F.C.'s Russ Smee looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of 福建宁德活塞队 booed when SnapperHeads F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Erwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 盛世 龙义 was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 福建宁德活塞队's Er Ba got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SnapperHeads F.C.'s Clay Oconnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 龙霆沙 in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
