Arif Ching blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Didi Gonçalves having to make a save. Didi Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amirul Hock, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oakham's goalkeeper Shah Henderson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arif Ching charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Ching the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Oakham got a freekick which was hit by Arif Ching. A collision led to Oakham getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gara Chian hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Mathews in the 22nd minute of play forced Oakham's goalkeeper Shah Henderson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Didi Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Chan in the 25th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Nagrand's goal looked a bit too open when Darren Chan came free, but Didi Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Nagrand got a freekick which was hit by Zak Choy. 28 minutes into the match, Joel Teo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Shah Henderson, 1-0. In the 32nd minute Darren Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Nagrand's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Ching came free, but Didi Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Oakham fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Oakham's Khairul Sarangapani looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 41 minutes of play, Oakham's Darren Chan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Didi Gonçalves was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the game, Oakham's Amirul Hock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Didi Gonçalves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Teo to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Oakham got a freekick which was hit by Darren Chan. In the 54th minute Gabriel Mathews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shah Henderson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Mathews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Shah Henderson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joel Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nagrand's Didi Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Chan in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute Amirul Hock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Tan Chew sped through Nagrand's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Didi Gonçalves. Didi Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tan Chew in the 71st minute of the match. Joel Teo charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Teo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nagrand's Joel Teo got a free kick in the 75th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Nagrand's goalkeeper Didi Gonçalves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amirul Hock. Didi Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darren Chan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Teo in the 86th minute of play forced Oakham's goalkeeper Shah Henderson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Zak Choy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nagrand fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Amirul Hock shot the penalty kick right outside the post.
