Güneş Fırıncı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şenel Hükümran in the 5th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Pehlivanköy defense, Besim Kadrican kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Güneş Fırıncı. The Pehlivanköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Güneş Fırıncı should have stopped the shot. Feyzullay Tunçkılıç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bilge Sazak in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Bilge Sazak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Feyzullay Tunçkılıç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, Besim Kadrican notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pehlivanköy's Güneş Fırıncı. Güneş Fırıncı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Güneş Fırıncı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökhun Eryavuz in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Pehlivanköy's Güneş Fırıncı got control of the ball when Besim Kadrican tried to sneak it across the goal line.
