In the 6th minute, Ferdi Erçin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atıf Uygur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Atıf Uygur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selim Ülkü, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Erkin Kutsel put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Göksun İcmal. In the 28th minute Ferdi Erçin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atıf Uygur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ST Lions FC's Feyzullay Ahmetoğlu got a free kick in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Üsküdar's Güven Enginalp broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Atıf Uygur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdi Erçin in the 42nd minute of the match. The goalkeeper, Göksun İcmal, was totally fooled by Üsküdar's Güven Enginalp, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdi Erçin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Ahmet Hafiz Ünverdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ST Lions FC's Göksun İcmal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, ST Lions FC's Hasret Kongurtay seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hasret Kongurtay the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ST Lions FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hasret Kongurtay had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in ST Lions FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Üsküdar. Güven Enginalp stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Göksun İcmal. 3-2. After 60 played minutes ST Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Teoman Kayhan. In the 61st minute of the match Güven Enginalp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Göksun İcmal skillfully saved the ball. In the 64th minute, Talip Üstay made a precise shot to the right of Göksun İcmal. ST Lions FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Selçuk Kayraalp during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Üsküdar getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Selçuk Kayraalp hit a great ball. Erkin Kutsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göksun İcmal having to interfere. Ferdi Erçin charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdi Erçin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes ST Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdi Erçin. Göksun İcmal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hafiz Ünverdi in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the ST Lions FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Üsküdar.
