Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) ST Lions FC's Arif Cengiz Akel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gürel Saygılı made in the 5th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aras Tamerk immediately put the ball in play. Nejat Akçakan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Göksun İcmal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Arif Cengiz Akel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Öz Bern SK's Kılıç Uğural was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to ST Lions FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nadir Sanat hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Çakır Sözer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kılıç Uğural showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Cengiz Akel in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Tansel İlksen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Göksun İcmal, passed just outside the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tansel İlksen to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Nejat Akçakan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Öz Bern SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nejat Akçakan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute of the match ST Lions FC got a corner. Öz Bern SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erman Durkaya ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ST Lions FC's Erman Durkaya to fire away a dangerous shot which Kılıç Uğural despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nejat Akçakan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th match minute, Öz Bern SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aras Tamerk to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes ST Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Beyhan Vatansever. If Nejat Akçakan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Çakır Sözer notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ST Lions FC's Göksun İcmal. Göksun İcmal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hakkı Deniz Geylani hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Haldun Ugraş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nejat Akçakan in the 86th minute of play forced ST Lions FC's goalkeeper Göksun İcmal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Öz Bern SK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Richard Nixon hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ST Lions FC's Arif Cengiz Akel got a free kick in the 93rd minute. ST Lions FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
