İsmet Ülgen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Onur Ali Zülfikar went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tayyar Ömür charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tayyar Ömür the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Cappadocia FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AYYILDIZ:s goal. The referee gave AYYILDIZ a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Muammer Adalı, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cappadocia FC's İsmet Ülgen. 0-2. Onur Ali Zülfikar struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. İsmet Ülgen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AYYILDIZ. Ender Olgunay scored 0-3 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of İsmet Ülgen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. İsmet Ülgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onur Ali Zülfikar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Recep Sanal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AYYILDIZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 27 minutes into the match, Cappadocia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Onur Ali Zülfikar came free, but İsmet Ülgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Cappadocia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürkan Yiğit to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Hamza Yiğitoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. İsmet Ülgen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. İsmet Ülgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Yiğitoğlu in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Recep Sanal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AYYILDIZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cappadocia FC the free kick. In the 37th minute, Recep Sanal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cappadocia FC's İsmet Ülgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onur Ali Zülfikar in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute Onur Ali Zülfikar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsmet Ülgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İsmet Ülgen came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by AYYILDIZ's Recep Sanal. But to his dismay, Recep Sanal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haydar Kılıçaslan to strike the kick off in the second half. İsmet Ülgen came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by AYYILDIZ's Haydar Kılıçaslan. But to his dismay, Haydar Kılıçaslan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Şadi Yücelen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. İsmet Ülgen came out and tried to block the shot, but Şadi Yücelen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 56th minute. AYYILDIZ's Onur Ali Zülfikar pulled a muscle in his leg after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tan Yatman's late challenge caught a AYYILDIZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tan Yatman helped the player get up and apologised. Tan Yatman hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Haydar Kılıçaslan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. İsmet Ülgen came out and tried to block the shot, but Haydar Kılıçaslan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Cappadocia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haydar Kılıçaslan came free, but İsmet Ülgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Şadi Yücelen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. İsmet Ülgen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute, Cappadocia FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hamza Yiğitoğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 0-12 became the score in the 74th minute when Şadi Yücelen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Şadi Yücelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. İsmet Ülgen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cappadocia FC's Gürkan Yiğit got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Gürkan Yiğit off the ground. Gürkan Yiğit hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Hulusi Uysal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th match minute, Cappadocia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Deniz Batır to maneuver through the defense. Muammer Adalı, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Cappadocia FC's goalkeeper İsmet Ülgen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şadi Yücelen. In the 95th minute Haydar Kılıçaslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsmet Ülgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AYYILDIZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
