In the 7th minute, Aras Daman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenerbahçe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Yıldırım Yaman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feyyaz Uçar went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Abdulbaki Boratay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Yıldırım Yaman firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 14th minute, Tuncer İribaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bozkurt booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emirşah Serdinç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çelebi Budak's late challenge caught a Bozkurt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Çelebi Budak helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bozkurt booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çelebi Budak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bozkurt's Abdulbaki Boratay got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Bozkurt's goal looked a bit too open when Tuncer İribaş came free, but Boran Gencal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Özalp Hasankeyf fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bozkurt's protests and gave Özalp Hasankeyf a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bozkurt getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Özalp Hasankeyf hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feyyaz Uçar got free with Yıldırım Yaman in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yıldırım Yaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taner Sartık in the 27th minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Bozkurt's Feyyaz Uçar made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yıldırım Yaman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boran Gencal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncer İribaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aras Daman made a kick off. The supporters of Bozkurt booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çelebi Budak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Oğuzalp Ak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oğuzalp Ak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Oğuzalp Ak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Demarcus Andersen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Boran Gencal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fenerbahçe's Aras Daman shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-3 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Aras Daman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bozkurt's Boran Gencal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute, Özalp Hasankeyf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yıldırım Yaman was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Oğuzalp Ak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boran Gencal having to interfere. Yıldırım Yaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Savier in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Savier in the 84th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Yıldırım Yaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Demarcus Andersen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boran Gencal. Bozkurt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Demarcus Andersen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-6. Aras Daman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Boran Gencal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fenerbahçe eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
