The supporters of FC MANLE booed when Blue Mountain State was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artun Şenyurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hamit Aynacıoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC MANLE's protests and gave Hamit Aynacıoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC MANLE getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Hamit Aynacıoğlu hit a great ball. After 10 minutes of play, Blue Mountain State's Ricardo Kaká made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nusrettin Uzay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Halil İbrahim Tanuğur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 15 in the game by Hamit Aynacıoğlu from a close distance when the talented Yalçın Olgunay managed to make a qualified save. Blue Mountain State's players were relieved. Nusrettin Uzay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Kaká in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Halil İbrahim Tanuğur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC MANLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halil İbrahim Tanuğur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Hamit Aynacıoğlu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After the first half Blue Mountain State were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Halil İbrahim Tanuğur made a kick off. If Artun Şenyurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Hamit Aynacıoğlu notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Blue Mountain State's Yalçın Olgunay. Yalçın Olgunay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hamit Aynacıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Halil İbrahim Tanuğur succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-4. In the 69th match minute, FC MANLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamit Aynacıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Ricardo Kaká dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nusrettin Uzay, 2-5. Halil İbrahim Tanuğur struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Yalçın Olgunay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC MANLE. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Kaká got free with Nusrettin Uzay in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yalçın Olgunay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halil İbrahim Tanuğur in the 81st minute of the match. Ricardo Kaká fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nusrettin Uzay having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Ricardo Kaká made it 2-6 with a short kick to the right side. FC MANLE's Nusrettin Uzay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th match minute, FC MANLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tansel Birsoy to maneuver through the defense. Artun Şenyurt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nusrettin Uzay came out and tried to block the shot, but Artun Şenyurt slotted it home off the left post making it 2-7 in the 91st minute. Blue Mountain State were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC MANLE's much stronger midfield.
