Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Bir Garip Oyun's Mahmut Çetiner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Suphi Sebuk in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naci Şehzat saved Bir Garip Oyun from getting behind. Eser İmamoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eser İmamoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes KOCAELİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Eser İmamoğlu. Bedir Akbayrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naci Şehzat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ertan Nuralp's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Bir Garip Oyun's Naci Şehzat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Bir Garip Oyun from getting a goal against them. Naci Şehzat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ertan Nuralp showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. The supporters of Bir Garip Oyun booed when KOCAELİSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suphi Sebuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. İlhami Muhittin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmut Çetiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bir Garip Oyun's Naci Şehzat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertan Nuralp in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, KOCAELİSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eser İmamoğlu to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's Ertan Nuralp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naci Şehzat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mehmet Çağrı Aktemur charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Çağrı Aktemur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ertan Nuralp in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naci Şehzat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kılıçhan Kayacan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Bir Garip Oyun got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Çağrı Aktemur. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ertan Nuralp made a kick off. İlhami Muhittin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahmut Çetiner in the 53rd minute of the match. If Ertan Nuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st match minute, KOCAELİSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ersin Kahveci to maneuver through the defense. Ersin Kahveci kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mahmut Çetiner got free with İlhami Muhittin in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naci Şehzat came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by KOCAELİSPOR's Ertan Nuralp. But to his dismay, Ertan Nuralp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 75 minutes, Ertan Nuralp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KOCAELİSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ertan Nuralp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. KOCAELİSPOR's Kudret Kadrettin was substituted for Kılıçhan Kayacan. In the 86th minute Ertan Nuralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naci Şehzat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mahmut Çetiner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving İlhami Muhittin. That made the score 3-1 in the 89 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Ertan Nuralp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eser İmamoğlu in the 95th minute of play forced Bir Garip Oyun's goalkeeper Naci Şehzat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KOCAELİSPOR fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bir Garip Oyun had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
