Abdi Saygın Birhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şerafettin Ilgın to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Los Valientes's Cemil Torgay got control of the ball when Murathan Dalokay tried to sneak it across the goal line. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cemil Torgay. Cemil Torgay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Valadares in the 98th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Carlos Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cemil Torgay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
