The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Hafiz Periz kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Frank Fiori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vehdi Hallaç in the 6th minute of play. Frank Fiori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Ambjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamdullah Kaplan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mustafa Hakan Topel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ErbaA KartaLı's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hamdullah Kaplan in the 13th minute. Mustafa Hakan Topel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamdullah Kaplan in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Ambjörnsson in the 24th minute of play forced ErbaA KartaLı's goalkeeper Frank Fiori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sancarbey Çakıroğlu took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Fiori. Frank Fiori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, ErbaA KartaLı's Tahsin Çalımbay got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sancarbey Çakıroğlu got free with Frank Fiori in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, ErbaA KartaLı's goalkeeper Frank Fiori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sancarbey Çakıroğlu. Ahmet Hafiz Periz's late challenge caught a MarineerS MzC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Hafiz Periz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ErbaA KartaLı's Ahmet Hafiz Periz got a free kick in the 40th minute. 45 minutes into the match, ErbaA KartaLı's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Ambjörnsson came free, but Frank Fiori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamdullah Kaplan was the one to do the kick off. If Yenal Okdemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yenal Okdemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Fiori having to interfere. After 68 played minutes ErbaA KartaLı got a freekick which was hit by Tahsin Çalımbay. After 72 minutes, Ahmet Bilgiç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MarineerS MzC and the ErbaA KartaLı players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MarineerS MzC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ahmet Bilgiç hit a great ball. After some careless play in the MarineerS MzC defense, Hamdullah Kaplan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Hakan Topel. The MarineerS MzC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Hakan Topel should have stopped the shot. MarineerS MzC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
