The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bedri Refet hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, H E P T A N's goalkeeper Kuddusî Özdoğal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berkay Lemi. In the 10th match minute, Büyükada Commandos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bircan Nazım to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Zülfikar Tanaydin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Büyükada Commandos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 17 minutes, Sezgin Tetiker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the H E P T A N and the Büyükada Commandos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, H E P T A N's Sezgin Tetiker got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cihangir Armağan in the 21st minute of play forced Büyükada Commandos's goalkeeper Erdeniz Ankaralı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Büyükada Commandos's Erdeniz Ankaralı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Bedri Sözmen in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kuddusî Özdoğal saved H E P T A N from getting behind. Erdeniz Ankaralı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faik Zeynur in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Cihangir Armağan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the H E P T A N and the Büyükada Commandos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Cihangir Armağan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erdeniz Ankaralı didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reşat Hasanoğlu went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Bircan Nazım fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Büyükada Commandos's protests and gave Bircan Nazım a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Büyükada Commandos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bircan Nazım to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Edin Džeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdeniz Ankaralı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. H E P T A N's Kuddusî Özdoğal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save H E P T A N from getting a goal against them. When Zülfikar Tanaydin fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Büyükada Commandos's protests and gave Zülfikar Tanaydin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Büyükada Commandos getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Zülfikar Tanaydin hit a great ball. Edin Džeko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 55th minute Faik Zeynur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdeniz Ankaralı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Büyükada Commandos got a freekick which was hit by Ulu Oğuztüzün. Erdeniz Ankaralı was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Cihangir Armağan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cihangir Armağan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After a rather tough play, H E P T A N's Sezgin Tetiker got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes of play, Büyükada Commandos's Onur Tümerkin made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kuddusî Özdoğal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute, Mehmet Hamdi Mürsel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the game, Faik Zeynur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erdeniz Ankaralı. Faik Zeynur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Erdeniz Ankaralı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faik Zeynur in the 79th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Büyükada Commandos's goal looked a bit too open when Reşat Hasanoğlu came free, but Erdeniz Ankaralı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erdeniz Ankaralı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cihangir Armağan in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Cihangir Armağan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erdeniz Ankaralı was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Cihangir Armağan was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 97th match minute, H E P T A N was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihangir Armağan to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. H E P T A N walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
