In the 3rd minute, Kostas Kelaidonis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Arif Serir was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 5th minute, Lütfü Tanbolat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Arif Serir came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Navigators's Bahri Rafiz. But to his dismay, Bahri Rafiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 11 minutes into the match, SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goal looked a bit too open when Alphan Çırakoğlu came free, but Mehmet Arif Serir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Oğuzhan Özguven fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SOFiNiN KEDiSi's protests and gave Oğuzhan Özguven a yellow card for diving instead. Oğuzhan Özguven hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Hüsamettin İlker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Navigators's supporters rose to their feet, but Hüsamettin İlker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Arif Serir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Hüsamettin İlker came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Navigators fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüsamettin İlker couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goal looked a bit too open when Alphan Çırakoğlu came free, but Mehmet Arif Serir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Navigators's Bahri Rafiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Arif Serir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hüsamettin İlker charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hüsamettin İlker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hüsamettin İlker kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Kostas Kelaidonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Arif Serir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes SOFiNiN KEDiSi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hüsamettin İlker who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Hüsamettin İlker got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mehmet Arif Serir quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Kelaidonis in the 38th minute of play forced SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goalkeeper Mehmet Arif Serir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Alphan Çırakoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Mehmet Arif Serir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lütfü Tanbolat during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Namık Kemal Kutlay was the one to do the kick off. Hüsamettin İlker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Arif Serir having to interfere. SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Mehmet Arif Serir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save SOFiNiN KEDiSi from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goalkeeper Mehmet Arif Serir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bahri Rafiz. Navigators's Bahri Rafiz managed to work through SOFiNiN KEDiSi's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Bahri Rafiz dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 57 played minutes SOFiNiN KEDiSi got a freekick which was hit by Namık Kemal Kutlay. In the 59th minute, Namık Kemal Kutlay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bahri Rafiz came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Navigators fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bahri Rafiz couldn't finish the play. Alphan Çırakoğlu's late challenge caught a SOFiNiN KEDiSi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alphan Çırakoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Navigators's Alphan Çırakoğlu got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 68th minute, SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Oğuzhan Özguven seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Oğuzhan Özguven the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SOFiNiN KEDiSi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Oğuzhan Özguven had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Navigators booed when SOFiNiN KEDiSi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzhan Özguven didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 72 in the game by Alphan Çırakoğlu from a close distance when the talented Mehmet Arif Serir managed to make a qualified save. SOFiNiN KEDiSi's players were relieved. After 74 minutes, Ali Asım Şensal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SOFiNiN KEDiSi and the Navigators players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, SOFiNiN KEDiSi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Asım Şensal to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kostas Kelaidonis in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Arif Serir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Navigators made a substitution. Alkan Başaydın replaced Alphan Çırakoğlu. In the 81st minute of the match Navigators got a corner. SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hüsamettin İlker ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Navigators's Kostas Kelaidonis to fire away a dangerous shot which Mehmet Arif Serir despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mehmet Arif Serir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alkan Başaydın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Alkan Başaydın left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Navigators fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 94 minutes into the game, Alkan Başaydın lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Mehmet Arif Serir. Navigators played a much better game than SOFiNiN KEDiSi and deserved their victory. The SOFiNiN KEDiSi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
