The referee ignored Flock of Eagles's protests and gave Jens Ingvall a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Flock of Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Jens Ingvall. In the 12th minute, Julian Frank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Anselius came free, but Jim Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åhus Absolut F.C's Abbe Alvin got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21stth minute of the game Johnny Broman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flock of Eagles's Karl Bock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jim Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Anselius in the 22nd minute of play. Jan Bergsten hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Flock of Eagles's Julian Frank got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 27th minute, Hannes Fernkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Anselius to make the kick off. The supporters of Åhus Absolut F.C booed when Flock of Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Lindman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 minutes, Gert Skålberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flock of Eagles and the Åhus Absolut F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jan Bergsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Bock having to interfere. Flock of Eagles's Karl Bock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Helström in the 63rd minute of play. Karl Bock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Bergsten in the 65th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Åhus Absolut F.C got a freekick which was hit by Rune Helström. In the 68th minute, Jan Bergsten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Skålberg came free, but Jim Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Bock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Broman in the 71st minute of the match. Karl Bock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 played minutes Flock of Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Mats Jönsson.
