Patrik Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Skates's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Lund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 15 minutes, Vilhelm Myr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Mamba and the The Skates players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vilhelm Myr hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Black Mamba's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Degas came free, but Patrik Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Bugajski hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jens-Ola Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Oskar Broberg in the 21st minute of the match. Black Mamba were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after The Skates's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sven-Oskar Broberg took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sven-Oskar Broberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jens-Ola Lund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Andreasson in the 30th minute of play forced The Skates's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Degas in the 31st minute of play forced Black Mamba's goalkeeper Patrik Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Black Mamba's Patrik Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Degas in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Christer Mattsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Skates fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Göran Bocklund hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Patrik Nordström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Degas's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Mattsson in the 46th minute of play forced Black Mamba's goalkeeper Patrik Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Degas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Harman in the 55th minute of play forced The Skates's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrik Nordström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgar Degas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 67 minute of play. Patrik Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Degas in the 77th minute of play. Jens-Ola Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Allan Matsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alex Ödmann came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the The Skates fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Ödmann couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes Black Mamba got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Harman. 90 minutes into the match, Black Mamba's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Degas came free, but Patrik Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes Black Mamba's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alex Ödmann who took care of the corner kick. Jens-Ola Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Bocklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Black Mamba supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Skates's performance. The match ended with a win for The Skates.
