Almaröds FF's Peter Stolpe suffered a concussion in the 15th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Jens Ingvall's late challenge caught a Almaröds FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens Ingvall helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Skålberg in the 19th minute of play forced Almaröds FF's goalkeeper Olov Grubb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Frank kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Gert Skålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Grubb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Almaröds FF's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Frank came free, but Olov Grubb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Almaröds FF booed when Flock of Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Frank didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Anselius was the one to do the kick off. Olov Grubb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Anselius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Grubb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Anselius went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Olov Grubb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Anselius in the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Fred Anselius notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Almaröds FF's Olov Grubb. Olov Grubb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Flock of Eagles were the better team. Flock of Eagles's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
