Flock of Eagles's Karl Bock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvar Kling in the 27th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Hedemora's Björn Åhlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Bock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Oskar Klemensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, Flock of Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Anselius to maneuver through the defense. Flock of Eagles's Karl Bock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Åhlberg in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Sandström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Julian Frank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Sävström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Hedemora defense, Gert Skålberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Sävström. The Hedemora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Sävström should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Håkan Holm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Sävström. Hedemora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Håkan Holm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. A collision led to Flock of Eagles getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fred Anselius hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the game, Emil Fransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hedemora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flock of Eagles the free kick. Hedemora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. 80 minutes into the match, Julian Frank notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Hedemora's Daniel Sävström. Daniel Sävström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fred Anselius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Sävström having to make a save. Fred Anselius made a great header on Flock of Eagles's corner, it was just that Hedemora's Daniel Sävström managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Anselius in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Sävström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Håkan Holm struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Daniel Sävström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flock of Eagles. In the 97th minute Fred Anselius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Sävström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
